The City of Lady Lake has once again been honored for excellence in financial reporting.
Lady Lake Finance Director Pam Winegardner accepted the Government Finance Officers Association award during a special town commission meeting Monday night.
The city’s finance department has won the award for excellence every year since 1995.
The city has continued to maintain the property tax line with a rate of 3.3962 thousand. The fund’s overall operating budget is $18.8 million. The city operates without any debt.
