Olympus Insurance appoints Mindy Barker as Chief Financial Officer

Gemini Financial Holdings Corporation (GFHC), the parent company of Olympus Insurance Company, has named Mindy Barker as Chief Financial Officer.

Barker brings more than 30 years of experience to this role.

He brings a wide variety of public and private company experience in a variety of finance and business roles within the insurance industry.

In addition, Barker has also held several senior roles as CFO and Vice President, including her most recent role as Interim CFO for Homeowners of America.

Prior to joining Olympus, Barker was vice president and chief financial officer of OptaComp, an affiliate of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Florida, a workers’ compensation insurer, as well as controller of Kemper Insurance.

All in all, Barker has a proven track record of leading large corporations to maximize profitability and operational efficiency. Throughout his career, he has strategically organized and led financial teams to success, focusing on financial planning that drives profitable growth, capital raising, and overseeing and managing risk.
