COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
University of Missouri Health Care will soon have a new financial leader.
The healthcare provider announced Thursday that Dustin Thomas will take over as its next chief financial officer. Thomas will join MU Health Care on Sept. 15 after working for the University of Texas Medical Branch.
He currently serves as the director of medical provider analytics and the health system’s chief financial officer.
“Dustin is a proven financial leader with a strong academic background in the health system,” said MU Health Care Interim Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs Nim Chinniah. “He will be an outstanding addition to our executive team and joins a group of talented and committed leaders.”
Thomas replaces Kay Davis, who joined MU Health Care in 1988.
