CONCORD, Calif. (AP) _ AssetMark Financial Holdings Inc . ( AMK ) reported second-quarter profit of $25.3 million on Wednesday.
The Concord, Calif.-based company said it had a profit of 34 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 44 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 40 cents per share.
The financial services company reported revenue of $151.2 million for the period, also beating Street forecasts. Three analysts polled by Zacks were expecting $149.9 million.
Shares of AssetMark Financial are down 23% since the start of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, the stock hit $20.08, down 21% over the past 12 months.
