Nationwide shortage of baby formula affects parents across the country

There is a nationwide shortage of baby formula affecting parents across the country that has spurred a response from several House committees trying to figure out what caused the issue. The shortage began in February after a major formula supplier, Abbott Nutrition, launched a massive voluntary product recall. Two infants died after consuming powdered formula manufactured by the company’s facility in Sturgis, Michigan, earlier this year.
