CARMEL, Ind. (AP) _ CNO Financial Group Inc. (CNO) reported second-quarter earnings of $136.1 million on Monday.
Per share, the Carmel, Ind.-based company said it had net income of $1.16. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, were 85 cents per share.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts polled by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 47 cents per share.
The insurance holding company posted revenue of $855 million during the period.
